Default Turn/River play: bet or check?

    Hand 1:
    -villain is 36/16/2
-Should I value bet this river, or check through on dangerous board

    Cryptologic
    No Limit Holdem Ring game
    Blinds: $0.50/$1
    6 players
    Converter

    Stack sizes:
    UTG: $42.50
    UTG+1: $170.03
    CO: $53.72
    Hero: $197.13
    SB: $189.37
    BB: $84

Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is Button with
3 folds, Hero raises to $3, SB folds, BB calls.

    Flop: ($6.5, 2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $5.5, BB calls.

    Turn: ($17.5, 2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $11.5, BB calls.

    River: ($40.5, 2 players)
    BB checks, Hero ??

    Hand 2:

-villain has been raising a LOT on the button (28/11/2.2)
-I have three bet him several times, and would 3-bet AK here 80% of the time, but flat called to mix it up
-flop call is partially to float him and see what he'll do on the turn, and also cause I think I'm ahead
-should I bet this river or check?

    Hero: $230.63

Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is BB with
UTG folds, UTG+1 calls, CO folds, Button raises to $4, SB folds, Hero calls, UTG+1 calls.

    Flop: ($12.5, 3 players)
Hero checks, UTG+1 checks, Button bets $8, Hero calls, UTG+1 folds.

    Turn: ($28.5, 2 players)
    Hero checks, Button checks.

    River: ($28.5, 2 players)
    Hero ??

    Hand 3:

    -UTG is pretty fishy 57/12/1.5
-How bad is flat calling CO's raise, instead of re-raising? I really didn't think UTG (as fishy as he is) could find a hand here that he would limp and then call such a big raise.
-UTG's call confused my play for the rest of the hand. Flop.. bet? Turn bet?

Hand 1- why am I hoping he has a straight? lol.. I only have trips!

Hand 2 - Like i said. Villain raised EVERY button, and I was pretty sure
I was ahead on the flop.

Yah, I kind of felt sick after I bet and he called. Given his PF limp, call, I put him on a very wide range that didn't necessarily include an ace.

Like I said, villain is a huge fish 57/12. Does this make it more or less likely that I should bet? Main pot was big, and I really just wanted to be HU with the PF raiser.

hand 1: I often check behind here but I guess u have to bet like $25

hand 2: I pot on river, I hope he has a K or thinks I'm trying to bluffsteal.. another option is to go for a crai should he have the token K.

hand 3: I need TT+ to call this preflop, and when UTG shows up in the hand and an A flops, you're basically not beating much anymore, so c/f all the way

    Thanks for the help guys!

    For those somewhat results oriented:

Hand 1: I checked through (stupidly) and villain had A7 for two pair

Hand 2: I bet the pot, and villain folded. Thought I maybe should have done the crai move. Gets money off bluffs, and a King would probably bet anyhow.

Hand 3: Fishy villain calls my flop lead with KQ off. Checks through turn and rivers a K.. damn fish! (villain that pushed preflop had 66.. I was pretty sure I was ahead of him)

Hand 1: The big question for me is whether Villain is tricky enough to c/c a flush. If so, I think I would lean towards checking behind on the river. If not, I'm a little torn because I think KQ with Qs is a possibility (wouldn't expect a call on the river from that hand) as well as 77 and 88 (typical bad player line, missing a c/r when he chickened out as the third spade hit the turn), but T9 also. Also, it depends on how Villain plays postflop. A lot of players would lead a hand like T9 on the flop hoping to induce a fold, though the K is a mitigating factor. If Villain often leads strong draws, I think you have a case to make a 1/2 to 3/4 pot size bet on the river.

Hand 2: Given the board and the way you played preflop, I think I would shove this river, because 1)I don't think you will get called very often by a hand that doesn't hold a K, 2) I don't think he'll put you on AK, and 3) I think you get a call from a K very often.

Hand 3: I don't understand the preflop call. You are a moderate favorite rarely, a slight favorite often, and a huge dog a little less often. It's a clear fold preflop, but raising is a whole lot better than calling given the stack sizes. Once you get called, alarm bells should be going off. UTG has a big hand usually. Easy c/f.

You neeeed to value bet hand 1. It is highly unlikely you are getting c/r here.
