2nd nuts in large pot facing 3/4 pot bet on river

Hi, Can't get the converter working for FT hands. Not sure why.

Ill try to use emoticons to show the hand. Villain seems pretty Laggy (althought relatively new to the table) and got his stack up by pushing someone out on the turn in a medium sized pot.

Im pushing here aswell. His line looks like KT or something similar, maybe even hit a set but i doubt it. Have you played with him enough to see him leading out with a pot sized bet on the flop with the nuts? At this level i dont think he is.

Your hand is ridiculously face up and he bets 3/4 the pot on the river. Not saying Im folding but Im definitely not raising.

Hahhhaa. That sucks- I know how that goes. You are aware you have the 2nd best, and wonder if he has the nuts in the back of your head. When the sirens go off in your head as he bets the river 8, that means something. It's a read.

Yeah I agree it's a call at minimum. As far as a raise... its tough. One thing I'd would look at back at was his timing tells (usually works at donkstakes... IDK about 10/25...). The one timing tell that would be useful would be his turn call. Usually when the "slightly ahead of the curve" donks have monsters... they check, but then call relatively fast after a signficant bet. As if they knew they were gonna call any / all bets (and not raise) no matter what happened.

Dunno how reliable that one is though. This guy doesn't have pkt Kings (given preflop) so I think his line signals 45 or 89- I mean look at flop bet- insignifcant pot builder, not top pair. Yes I know he bet pot, but $.75 is such a small amt. due to a mere 3 limpers, KT would prob. lead more on that flop and if not, he at least wouldn't shoot his load with a mere rivered 2 pair.

BTW you say this guy has crap image, but you must know that the hand that he REALLY starts betting on means something. (not his $1 cbets on 338 type boards)

I don't usually post results because i'm not results orientated. But in this case I think the result is indicative of the level of play at 25NL.

Guy limps kings in the SB and then weakishly bets on a draw heavy board... wow he deserves that river.

Limping KK definately isnt good play, but i think his line represents two pair more than a set, due to the fact it was limped. He led out flop and turn because he thought he had the best hand, then the K comes which improves his hand and he cant get his chips out fast enough. Meh, my first guess was close.

It looks like two pair. If he had 89, why would he only CALL a raise on the turn ? Push all in, weaker hands call often enough to make the push profitable.

Totally missed out on this and now since I am playing this level I am puuuuuuuuuuuuuushing here. I retract former statements. Players seriously cannot read boards at this level and even though I said your hand appears to be face up a villian with a set/2pr at this level would never realize that.
