if i were villain and had jj-KK i would raise your flop lead, in fact, i would raise your lead here with many hands. however, i wouldn't call a c/r with jj-kk

Hmm...yeah I see what you are saying because if I have AK/AQ here I check this flop to the 3-bettor everytime.

This is one of the first times I've ever donked like this.
It worked but I am just wondering if it will work more often than not.

The only good thing I see about it is that it's a cheaper way to take a stab at the pot. If I check raise him it is going to cost me half my stack, but it will work more often...

Your flop lead is not great either, he will call or raise with any ace, and might call with JJ+...A c/r is better but then again risky too.. Just fold preflop or c/f flop.

well, i wasn't paying specific attention to the pot size. Point is, checkraising shows a ton more strength and wins more money than donkbetting.

Even then, unless they know you always lead with sets... The other problem though is that leading in a reraised pot is very strange.

If you want to mess with him I think a better line is to call the flop and lead a non-club turn or CR AI on a club turn if stacks make it possible.
