    Default umm... pukey?

Villain is taggy (22/16/2). Haven’t seen him make any moves so far. I’m playing tight.

    - Daddy_Cool_ sitting in seat 5 with $292.25
    - mr_loser sitting in seat 6 with $40.51

    tu0mari posted the small blind - $1.00
HERO posted the big blind - $2.00

    Daddy_Cool_ folded
    mr_loser called - $7.00
    skoldpadda folded
    tu0mari folded
    HERO raised - $30.00
    Villain called - $30.00
    mr_loser folded

    ** Dealing the flop:

    HERO bet - $40.00
    Villain raised - $99.00
    HERO called - $99.00

    ** Dealing the turn:

    HERO checked

It is definantly a tough situation, I would say it looks more like a move though? I can't see villain playing a set like this, and would he really be willing to push his whole stack with a two pair? Whats he calling reraises with here? AJ?

I'm a poker noob though so my advice probably will get you stacked.

I think you have to call here.

You've under-repped your hand a lot here, by checking the two streets. Its only a half pot bet. I think you're ahead here more than 25% of the time.

    Villain's line is weird though.

    I puked and called.

What if villain had pushed turn? Does his line rep more or less strength?

    Such a weird hand.

I think if he pushes the turn it definantly represents more strength on his part. If he did that you have to definantly think he might be holding a set. I am interested in the results of this hand.

Ouch. He's either full of shit or has JJJ I believe. I still call though.

    Nope villain showed 88.

Strange hand. From what I saw, villain played goot. He was huge stacked on at least 3 other tables as well...

Very weird hand. If he pushed the turn I may have folded... (lol no! )

People don't fold TPTK in re-raised pots. For that matter people are less likely to make folds in re-raised pots when they catch any piece of the board, mainly because re-raised spots are particularly likely spots for people to make moves (Because of all the monies in the pot). So basically it's a call. And the guy who pushed the 88 is baaaaaadd.

If he did it on the turn would you like it?

It wasn't as simple as inducing a bluff so I could snap-call.

After I call the flop raise I'm committed. This makes it very unlikely that a thinking villain would ever continue with any kind of a bluff on this kind of board for like 1/2347328904 of the pot.

If my hand is KK or QQ then I think this gets really interesting.

I guess the turn makes it better. I probably shut down with my 88 bluff on that board though after the flop. I just can't see what we're trying to make him fold after he calls the flop raise. I can't say for sure how a standard tag plays KK/QQ in this spot, but I imagine a lot of them check the flop so this exact tough situation doesn't happen.
