playing heads up against a paticular kinda opponent

Ok i dont play much heads up but lets say you are playing a villan with the following characters.

1 he will raise from the BB over 80 percent of the time if you limp from the sb.
2 he loves to attack checks a lot and will bet against a check around 75 percent of the time.
3 It is nearly impossible to make him fold even bottom pair or ace high even check raising or reraing th turn will not get him to fold.

I am assuming this is HU play and not just when you get down to the blinds.

1. Easily solved, never limp HU, raise/fold from the SB(button)
2. Check/call with your 2nd/3rd pair hands instead of betting them. You should also be c/r'ing the turn/river with TP+
3. Don't bluff. You can semi-bluff where you hold some equity. Bet your 2nd/3rd pair hands more and make him pay you off with Ace high.

HU limit with the right rake structure is very profitable as most people just have no idea how to play.

BTW, calling down with bottom pair/Ace high is somewhat normal in HU limit.

If you are playing a HU table, throw at every rule you have ever learned and play the person that is sitting across from you... they bluff a lot call down more a lot more... they don't bluff or fold to aggression unless they have to pound on them... HU is swingy as hell... 100bb an hour is not unexpected... you don't find a genial guide line for HU on the internet because there isn't one... you have to change gears so roguery based on your opponent that it's impossible to say what you should and shouldn't do... because if you limit yourself to one way of playing you'll get chewed up by sertion styles of players naturaly... like if you don't bluff a weak player in HU then your missing out on value... you don't call down a maniac in Hu then your missing value... if you fold too often to am anic ou get distroyed... you don't bluff a weak player then it's a contest of who runs the best...

if you find your opponent will fold a pair HU in a LHE game then you should continue to bet and raise until he runs out of money. HU LHE is very swingy as fanatic said and he is right, you shouldn't fold. Most of the time our opponent [and us] are so full of shit you have to call them down with bottom pair/ace high/king high to get reads and because of the bluff factor.
