All-in call question in Heads-up

Default All-in call question in Heads-up

Started as 4.5 to 1 favourite, but was beaten in 5 hands.
    #1 hand, opp all-in pre-flop, I folded
#2 hand, opp all-in on flop, I folded
    #3 hand, opp all-in preflop, I folded
#4 hand, with AKo but knew opp is going to all-in , just called, and then his all-in. But lost.
#5 hand, this is where my question, opp is going all-in again, I'm holding 55....my first reaction was to call, and I did. Lost

Thinking back, #5 hand, we were about even in chips, he had me covered. though he has all-in all the while, but now he has almost even in chips with me, should I think he has a hand now?....and also my 55 is only a coin-flip even with trash hands likes 8-6

should I cool down....and fold? our M are a little more than 10, I think I should call.
I know it is a dumb question...but still I would like to have inputs from other FTR members.

    Thanks

Given your reads, I think this is all fine. I would probably raise the Q7s hand to 3x BB considering the stack sizes, however.

Re the 55 call, I think this is fine. With blinds this large pretty much any pocket pair is a very strong hand and 55 is plenty good enough to call here. You are actually ahead of a few hands that he would shove (think A2-A5, maybe K2-K5, 22-44), 55% favourite against most other hands and only dominated by a few hands.

What tai says about the 55 is true, but I probably don't make the call because I probably expect to be able to outplay villian. We don't even know what he does when you raise yet, because you haven't done it!

With blinds this big, you absolutely need to raise any hand you're playing. And you need to play most hands when you're first preflop. The Q7 hand specifically - definitely raise there; possibly just put him all in.

I think I'll call in hand 1, it's a fav vs any two cards. Plus it gives you the chance to get things over. Even if you lose you're still a 87:48 chip leader.
