A call or a fold are both fine, and should be a function of how well you know his tendencies postflop rather than his hand strength as against some of these nitty guys you can play basically perfectly postflop. For example if you know he is gonna check behind without TP or an overpair and fold to a bet on 2 streets which is pretty typical of villains with these stats then you can play a huge range profitably and calling should really only be a function of how often you have been bluffing him and can expect him to remain passive.

However if he cbets/gets value fairly reasonably postflop and you think you might take one pair too far then its -ev.
