There are many ways to play that hand preflop, either limp & smallball, potbuilding raise or big, isolation raise. You chose to build the pot - fine. But after that you have to play the hand accordingly (i.e cautious when unimproved)

Flop is kinda scary, you made a probe bet and got raised. Notice, that flop raiser didn't raise only at you, he represented against entire field (3 players yet to act+you). It's most likely set, wheel or 46. At best you are even money against some combo draw (unlikely), in worst case you are up against nut straight. Against sane player it's fairly easy muck. Even against lagtard I wouldn't go to war on flop with it.
