AA vs fishy fish

etats oiho is a big fish. He runs like 50/20, and i actually have a decent sized sample on him because he somehow still has money. I'm not sure what a minraise UTG means, but i remember him doing it a few times before months ago and i don't think it's anything special.

He's a flop calling station, and too loose in general postflop. He would probably call a pot sized bet with a Flushdraw, i think he'd need a little better than that to call the overpush... he probably doesn't calculate pot odds or knows the odds of hands hitting.

I think turn is best bet size considering his range and the fact that there's no way/reason to get away from AA here.

Why? 1/2 pot charges the flush draw adequately and $60 is 2/3 pot. I realize there are two draws there so we should charge more, but we can discount the J slightly.

The problem is that if a flush card comes on the river i'm probably calling a shove from this guy. Because of that, the implied odds are there for him, so if i think that i can't induce a shove from a draw with a smaller bet, i need to make a pretty big bet to cancel his implied odds.

But you want him to chase. By shoving you risk folding out draws and only getting calls from better hands. You want to bet an amount greater x and less than y, where x gives him odds to draw to the flush and y gets a fold.

If this is the case there is no point in worrying about bet size. And since he's a calling station you can probably get away with a larger bet size. I would bet closer to pot sized maybe a bit less. I'd push if i think it would get called.

Let me rephrase that, i just doubt he calculates them very well or is very disciplined about applying them.
