poker night

I'm having a poker night. I was wondering how many chips everyone should have etc so that the game is of decent length and stuff?

I personally prefer cash games at home. Means people who bust out dont just sit around watching.

I have a fairly regular £2 buyin cash game with 100BB stacks which are spread as

25 x 1

30 x 5

1x 25

It gives everyone a nice chunky chips stack to play with so people dont feel short.

Obviously you can scale up the denomonations if you want. I feel like these ratios let the game play fairly natually and give people plenty of chips to throw about / play with.
