Both times I felt he potted it automatically, and his range preflop is mostly unpaired cards. Only problem is I priced him in to call with a draw. Just lead the flop? I suck at this spot where I have a decent hand, but I have too many chips to open push PF but too little to raise PF without feeling pot-commited.

First hand (AKo) - yeah I would make it 3x BB to go, you don't mind getting chips in the pot when you have position and your hand is very likely ahead of opps' ranges. Flop is obv fine.

Second hand (AJs) - don't mind 2.5x BB preflop when you're OOP for the rest of the hand. As played, definitely c-bet the flop for 500 or so and shut down if called or raised.
