    Default SnG Leak

This is a VERY broad question I know.

Im generally a VERY tight player,

I seem to be doing OK in tournies ($5 & $10 levels )
Im playing 1-5 table SnGs mostly
Ive noticed that I always seem to arrive at the final table or close to the bubble with an M that is so low I will HAVE to push soon or become a non threat.

the only time this doesnt happen is when I manage to get a few good hands and double or quad up.

Am I just playing to tight and not stealing enough or is this normal for you guys that kill tournies?

I know its broad but its the one similarity I find in my game .

Unless I am hot I always seem to get myself to the point I MUST push with any decent hand I get and PRAY.

    Normal or not?

    TIA

Generally yes, you are playing too tight for the given circumstances. Post some histories and we will take a look.

i am the same, would be interested to see your HH as well as it would be a good indication for me, although i dont end up needing to push to survive i am generally a relative short stack by the time final table/bubble comes around

Using the trimmer, post a whole tourney where you thought you played too tight and we'll take a look. Playing tight early but loosening up as the stack/blind ratio decreases (whilst staying aggressive throughout) is one of the KSFs of tourney play.

Sorry, using some work TLAs (three letter acronyms). Key Success Factor.
