Default Awkward decision AQ with AK on the flop

What are your thoughts on this hand? If I push the flop I am almost certain villain is calling. Suppose re-raising pre would have given me easier decision, meh...

    push/fold preflop.

that's a fairly weak flop raise, and he's pretty much committing himself to going all in.

    got any reads?

Yeah, he's pretty LAGG. I thought the flop raise was OK, about 2/3rds of pot...

I agree with Hyper, push or fold preflop depending on reads. I don't want to play AQo OOP for 10% of my stack. If your read is that he is LAgg, then shove it preflop.

As played, given that opp is LAgg, I probably grit my teeth and shove over. I think you get paid off by opp folding (!) or calling with a hand you beat often enough to compensate for the times opp has AK or a set.

4 handed AQ is golden here against his range. I like flat calling preflop and check/raising the flop all in. As played I shove.

Work out his pfraising range, the % of it you have beat on this flop, combine it with his LAgginess and don't feel bad if he flips one of the 4 hands that beats you (discounting silly non AK 2pair hands)
This is not my signature. I just write this at the bottom of every post.

I shove too. You're not winning every time but you're behind 4 hands. The only time I consider not shoving is if his pre-flop and flop bets are markedly different from previous bets and give off big alarm bells that this time he has a monster.

    move in as played.

I can see re raising pre flop but pushing seems weird to me. What range calls a shove? I feel like a push folds almost every hand we want to play against (Maybe hero call with AJ).

If you raise to 500 you are first in and can shove if you like, or give it up and still have 1k.
