I'd probably just check back on the flop because

-he's a good aggro player who will be pushing or folding in response to your flop bet
-he probably has something pretty good to call your re-raise out of position
-he won't give you credit for the flush if you check the flop

Bet this flop for sure against shittier players who are calling your re-raise with tons of crap and are giving up most of the time on the flop, and if they don't give up they'll just float you out of position.
