    Seriously, am I a complete amateur donkey or am I just running REALLY bad with big pairs?

    I think you have to fold as played, there are so many hands that can be made with that turn. if he's loose, his range could be suited j9, k9, kj, k10, q10 etc. I think you bet the $1 on the flop, before he can see another card. I might call a push on the flop with a good read, but probably not because it's not draw-heavy and you don't have many outs.

    you have him covered and if he is making wild moves, you have opportunities to catch him later, especially if he did actually bluff you.

    c-bet the flop. As played, you have to fold.
