Poor Decision???

    Default Poor Decision???

    Playin in a live tourney last nite, 40 man, top 6 pay, down to last 8.
    blinds high at 2 / 4000, next hand going to 3/6000, me down to 14500, second short stack. all the other stacks fairly big.

    Player under the gun, 3rd stack, raises min to 8000, folds round look down at 10s and push over the top. Was that the right move??

    It looks fine given your ultra low M. If player 1 is tight though he probably has you beat. Not sure I could find a fold here. Even if blinds had just passed, you're going to be forced AI in the next two orbits. I don't think hanging on and hoping for 6th is an option.
