Hand 1 -- I'm not pushing the flop there. Given that he represented strength pre-flop you are looking at 6 outs with 2 cards to come. Lucky for you it was two high cards, but it could have been an overpair.
My read on this guy was that he was weak. Combined with a gutshot or the fact that I'm probably good means that he can't call if I shove if didn't hit that flop. Some of these hands will look out of the ordinary since you will not get a sense of the reads that I had. But, you should see that his flop bet was pretty bad.
Hand 7 -- I check/fold that flop, I'm not c-betting that flop with your cards.
Chances of him floping a flush are pretty low. Yes, he could have a heart in his hand, but I can't think like that and throw out a c-bet. If he calls I'm done.
Hand 8 -- I fold this UTG given the stack sizes.
I don't know what you mean by given stack sizes. The average stack size is around 30bbs. Sometimes I raise here and sometimes I just limp. It depends upon how the table is playing. This table seemed fairly aggressive and I was ok with calling a raise from someone with a similar stack to mine.
Hand 14 -- I bet this flop sometimes.
I think that a raise from me preflop would have been better than completing.
Hand 16 -- I don't call this re-raise pre-flop. AQ is the type of hand that is horribly dominated here, save the chips if you flop a Q you are likely going busto.
I'm getting 2-1 and villain has a similar stack to mine. AQs is a great hand to call his reraise with since I'm getting good implied odds. If I hit a Q I would have to see how he would react to me leading out and then go from there. My stack is still in good shape after calling and folding this raise.
Hand 21 -- I'm probably taking a 1/2 pot bet shot at that flop.
I was tempted but decided not to. I agree though.
Hand 24 -- I muck ace rag from this position. I am also not calling his re-raise, not with A rag. Post flop is std though.
This was a steal attempt. Not sure if this was the bubble or not, but could be. Villain was a lagtard and was calling raises or reraising raises and then leading out for steals. I picked-up on this and since I had a piece of this flop I just shoved him. On this particular hand notice that he bet the flop with the same amount that he reraised me with.
Hand 35 -- I think I let this go on the turn when he bets, you only beat KQ KJ KT, QJ and JT... everything else has you crushed.
I didn't buy it. I knew that he was scared and my mistake was not applying pressure either on the flop with a bet or on the turn with a reraise. I just couldn't get myself to bet.
Hand 36 -- this is a big mistake -- either re-raise all in or fold. With your stack you absolutely cannot take a flop with this hand.
I don't think it's a big mistake but a push may have been better preflop since I have 15bbs. However, his min raise was easy to call since it was < 10% of my stack and I wanted to see a flop with this tard.
Hand 37 -- I usually c-bet this flop, but sometimes I don't as well...
Same idiot calling my raise. I'm leading out with my draw.
Hand 38 -- I'm leading out and betting here.
I agree. However, since he was terrible, I didn't want him calling me down when I just had 2nd pair. That flop can hit a lot of hands.
Hand 45 -- This is a mistake. I am not stealing with this hand, not against a shorty that is committed. Carefully pick which stacks you want to steal from.
I didn't care if he shoved. He was committed with any two regardless so I felt T4s was pretty good against his wide range. I understand your point though.
Hand 51 -- I flat Igoforgold on the flop and get his chips in on the turn. Raising here might push him out, which is the last thing you need with aces here.
My read was that he had a big hand as well. So I figured he would call. Besides, I've been betting and not really slowing down post flop, that is if anyone was paying attention. Also, If he has AKs, then I want him to put all his chips in on the flop.
Hand 57 -- Nice read, I typically will just call that flop bet, and bet when he checks on the turn though, if he bets the turn I am likely done.
His flop bet just looked weak and since I had a draw I reraised.
Hand 65 -- This is a clear fold, why in the world are we calling an all-in with Q high???
Yea, I thought that I had the odds to call. Mis-click. Poker gods said it was a good call though.
Hand 66 -- What's going on here... how can you call him, I realize he is pushing any two, but even to call any two we need a much better hand than J7. In fact with Q7 being the computer hand J7 is WORSE than the average hand. You are not getting pot odds to make this call.
I was getting close to 2-1 and I figured that he was pushing very wide since he was like 5bbs. My stack can absorb the hit if I lost.
Hand 68 -- Why are we calling this re-raise, we know we are 75/25 here or 70/30. This is a clear fold pre-flop.
I was getting close to 3-1 to call his reraise. I thought that this was a resteal. This is the type of hand that I could flop big with but also a hand I can get away from if I mis. The problem is that I don't think that he had the stack big enough for implied odds.
Hand 70 -- Why are you min-raising him, because he min-raised initially?? If you want to play this hand this way make it 50k to go otherwise just throw it in the muck, where it belongs. ALso I'm not firing on the turn with that A.
Believe it or not, but I wasn't trying to min raise. I misclicked. Although, it might have worked out in my favor and maybe represented a bigger hand than I had. He called my flop bet and looked like he was drawing so I thought that the Ace didn't help him. My bet on the turn was my last ditch effort to take it away. I think that this is a fine play to make with this type of hand preflop considering I raise correctly. I need to have the resteal in my arsenal more often.
Hand 74 -- Flatting is pretty bad here, I push preflop or I fold pre-flop. I prefer a fold actually...
Meh, It's close since he has 18bbs. I saved 60K this way.
But a push would be better.
Hand 79 -- I like this play, especially if you have a read on villian as being laggy, obv if he is a tighty this isn't as a good a play. Still given your stack I like the aggressiveness with that type of hand.
15bbs gotta push here for a resteal especially 4 handed. Unlucky that he had suck a strong hand. But, 87s plays pretty well against AA.
