    Default bottom set vs LAGGY

Involved in another game...will give a quick run down....

$20 S/G on PS...50/100 blinds....flopped bottom set against LAGGY who plays every hand. Board had 2 clubs but otherwise uncoordinated.

I had opp out chipped by about 300. I pushed AI (2K) and opp called with 7-4 suited and caught the flush.

How should I have plyed the bottom set. Should I have checked/called to see if a suited card hit?

My goal was to get opp AI with Ax.....is this just one of those things or should I have played low set different. Will post actual hand later tonight.
It's not how many pots you win, it's what's in them that counts.

u got all in with the best hand and he just hit a miracle card. Dont be result oriented, if u knew he would call ur all in, then u played it very well

I am not worrying about a loss.....not an issue....

My question is......against a LAGGY...do you push AI bottom set....knowing they will call any draw.

This was a $20 S/G and I tend to give opps a little credit to look at the board and figure out what is right. Obviously opp's call of my AI was wrong however....should I have gone AI here knowing they were calling with a HUGE range.....

When you flop a set you want to figure out how to get all your chips in the pot as soon as possible. If opp is calling your shove with a huge range (read - you beat most of their range) then shove away. If you are convinced that they will bet if you check then C-R AI - but I'm hesitant to do this if there are potential draws on the board.

This is a great situation. Push. Even if he draws out on the , you have a ten out redraw on the river
