    Default Is this the spot?

20 FO on stars. I have only been at table about 15 minutes. I doubled up FlorMe a couple orbits ago, I raised KJs from CO and he shoved JJ from BB.

TEXASLORD moved to the table after I did and I don't think he had played a hand yet.

Are you asking if this is the spot where you can fold KK preflop?

    If so, I say no.

The limp/push is scary, but it is done with AK enough that you can't fold here.

Maybe he took you as a donk from the KJ hand and is pushing wide. I call.

Haven't you had a run of crappy cards for a few orbits and haven't played any? This could easily be a situation like that seeing as he hasn't been there very long.

I always get a hand once an orbit. You guys play orbits without hands? Rigged?

Comment wasn't to say that I had a tight read, just that I didn't have a read at all.

I know this is LC, but I was tempted to get away (I didn't).

I do think if FlorMe had raised/shoved and then Texas came along I should/might have folded.

Folding KK pre with 40BB and an M of like 16 is a crime.

This is one of those times.....and by one of those times, I mean tournament defining hands. I call with the KK. I don't think he pushes with AA. This is more likely an AK hand or QQ-TT hand. If he does have AA, then gg me.
If people weren't involved....I would have mastered poker along time ago! - Play the Game!

I'd be inclined to think with AA a guy isn't going to be so intent in getting it all in so early.

There are rare occasions where you might think about folding KK.

This is not one of them.

Pushing with AA here is a great play.

bump because I think I found a spot to fold KK (not mine). This is first hand of a deep stack 50 FO. MP2 has to have AA - especially since UTG knows he has KK?

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t20 (8 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

    Button (t3000)
    Hero (t3000)
    BB (t3000)
    UTG (t3000)
    UTG+1 (t3000)
    MP1 (t3000)
    MP2 (t3000)
    CO (t3000)

Preflop: Hero is SB with J, J.
UTG calls t20, 2 folds, MP2 raises to t80, 2 folds, Hero raises to t280, 1 fold, UTG raises to t800, MP2 raises to t2800, Hero folds, UTG calls t2220 (All-In).

    Flop: (t6120) T, 6, 9 (2 players, 1 all-in)

    Turn: (t6120) 4 (2 players, 1 all-in)

    River: (t6120) 8 (2 players, 1 all-in)

    Final Pot: t6120

UTG has Kh Kc (one pair, kings).
MP2 has Ac As (one pair, aces).
    Outcome: MP2 wins t6120.
