Default $11 Party turbo for review

Been running goot recently. All comments/ feedback however harsh and critical welcomed! I think hand 21 was a bad push as I'm not sure how much FE I had. Both times I c/raised, the opp in postion had an infinite agg factor through the tourney. Villains on the whole didn't suck as much as usual in this one.

The Tournament Trimmer (v1.1.2w) was developed by JeffreyGB at http://www.FlopTurnRiver.com.

Blinds didn't post, but I assume by the time you're pushing every hand the BB is 300+. Never seen so many paired broadway hole cards . Nice win!

Blinds are on the third line of each hand. Converter hasnt exactly made it amazingly easy to read, sorry.

Frustrating thing is I got 4 QQ+ early, and only went up 600 chips

Edit: Whoa, didn't realise it was actually 5!! I was right about the 600 chips though...

I've just got my ROI back up to 10% from 440 games with this result and a few more tonight. Thinking about moving to the $22s. I have 25 buy-ins atm. I'll let you know how I get on. Any feedback on the tourney still very much welcomed!

How about questions instead of feedback?

Hand 6 (79s): I'm still having trouble with this one. Whats your reason for calling this from SB? Does the fact you have a nice stack play into it?

After hand 10: ADiamond 7Heart CO (M = 0.00; f+f+F) - This isnt strong enough for a push from CO with big stack ahead?
THeart KSpade BU (M = 0.00; c+f+F) Would you have pushed this if no limp from UTG?

Hand 11 (A8s): I guess related to first one above, this is suited but you're in EP. What prompted this push?

After hand 12: 5Diamond 5Club BU (M = 0.00; c+f+F) Again if no limper would you push this?

Hand 13 (43o): Why this push into someone with equal stack with this hand?

Hand 17 (58s): What prompted this push over? Is this just putting pressure on opp when he limps?

    AClub 6Diamond SB (M = 0.00; f+c+F) - Not worth a raise with button limper?
Just dipping my toes back in.

Hand 6 (79s): I'm still having trouble with this one. Whats your reason for calling this from SB? Does the fact you have a nice stack play into it?I thought this was fairly standard with 7:1 odds and a good drawing hand. As you say, 50 chips won't hurt my stack much

After hand 10: ADiamond 7Heart CO (M = 0.00; f+f+F) - This isnt strong enough for a push from CO with big stack ahead?nope. I guess I push AT + here.
THeart KSpade BU (M = 0.00; c+f+F) Would you have pushed this if no limp from UTG?yes

Hand 11 (A8s): I guess related to first one above, this is suited but you're in EP. What prompted this push? It's actually the CO again, since we're now 5 handed. This is very close... possibly a bad push. The fact that the stacks were more level influenced my decision. Also, I hadn't pushed for a while, and the blinds were about to go up and decimate my stack.... As I say, it might be bad.

After hand 12: 5Diamond 5Club BU (M = 0.00; c+f+F) Again if no limper would you push this? definately. Blinds are now 300/600

Hand 13 (43o): Why this push into someone with equal stack with this hand? To make him fold! He can't call without a monster, and with the blinds this high it's definately +EV with ATC.

Hand 17 (58s): What prompted this push over? Is this just putting pressure on opp when he limps? Bully the second biggest stack. Even the worst party donks won't call without a very good hand here. I push over even if he raises.

AClub 6Diamond SB (M = 0.00; f+c+F) - Not worth a raise with button limper?I think you're right. It's that serial limper again. Maybe I just didn't want to tilt him into a call (or maybe I just wasn't thinking)
$22s are way harder than $11s at party. I need to improve before I move up, judging by my couple of efforts. On a ridiculous upwing at $11s though, I'm up $150 today including $22 buy ins, and I've only played 15 games [/b]

As you know i'm playing these at the minute. I'm finding the standard pretty awful but i've been running bad over my first 300/400 or so, albeit hovering around the 10% ROI mark.

The variance is crazy - extreme/ultra turbo kinda variance, but i thought i'd hang in there until i ran good. Had a killer session today - couldn't do much wrong it seemed, which just about doubled my ROI.

What i like about them is, any +ev pushes/spots that come your way you've got to push, as these spots are less frequent than say Stars turbo's. If i've been pushing a lot i have a tendency to take my foot off the peddle and pass up 1 or 2. You can't do that with these which can only be a good thing.

Anyway, here's to my next downswing.

I've heard its standard, I'm still trying to work the odds. Its 7:1 odds to call, but your odds to hit are worse than that arent they? Is this based on the implied odds of having a relatively disguised hand if you do hit?

Oh yeah, its a turbo. I'm not used to those blinds with that many players left. That makes some of those decisions more obvious. Thanks.

Wow, sweet little upswing. Whats your ITM ration today? How did you find the $22s (other than way harder), what sorts of things made it difficult?

It's waayy more than 7:1 to hit a straight or a flush on the flop, but there are all sorts of other things you can get that you can bet with confidence like 2pair, trips, combo draws etc. etc. Then once you factor in implied odds it's a pretty clear call.

Oh yeah, its a turbo. I'm not used to those blinds with that many players left. That makes some of those decisions more obvious. Thanks.
    And it's a party turbo at that, and they're mental! 20/40, 30/60, 50/100 (then insane) 100/200, 200/400, 300/600, 400/800/25.

Really steep levels, with 5 minute intervals. Really good way to work on your push/ fold while taking money from donks.

How did you find the $22s (other than way harder), what sorts of things made it difficult?
They actually seem to understand how to play SitnGos, as opposed to how to get knocked out early which is what most people at the $11s seem to want to do... It was 9 handed when the blinds reached 200/400, with my stack at 1600. Pushing opportunities were rare.

I've actually played even less than I thought. Played 11, ITM 6!

One quick upswing and I'm up to 12%. I don't think ROI is at all reliable with such a small sample size in such a swingy game. The mental format seems to attract all the maniacs, which can only be good
