    Default Was this incredibly stupid?

I really bluff rarely, this just looked a good time to do it, since I playes poorly preflop. That's my problem, I don't know what to do with AJ OOP... I called his flop bet because it was a bit weak, seemed like c-bet. I tryed to take the pot down on the turn, but when he called I knew I have to bet the river as well since there was no chance of winning that hand...
I'd appreciate some comments... How to play this PF?

Fold preflop. As played, the spade on the river saved you. I don't think this can be anywhere near +EV.

I don't think it's bad. I kind of like it. The bet on the flop was weak and trying to take it away on the turn was good. The only issue that I have is that you need to know your opponents and if they will fold to aggression. In SNGs, making plays isn't that rewarding.

Looks like opp made a good fold with an overpair?

I hate to play AJo from early position, no real need to make plays like this in SnGs unless you have a nice read on opp.

I think he had an over pair and making a weak bet on the flop hoping for a raise, got scared of the second T on turn and scared again on the river.

Good to mix it up sometimes, I like it, wp.

Well, I made a mistake calling with AJ and later I didn't want to let it go, since the opp made moves like that before, we played maybe 20 hands and he made weak raises PF and weak c-bets so ten on the turn seemed like a good opportunity to take it down. When he called 250 bet on turn (after 10-15 seconds of thinking) I thought he did have something like JJ... I know I won't be doing this anytime soon, I kinda did it instictivly, seemed like the best thing to do at that time...

I think the spade on the river saved your bacon . Your play looked enough like a flush draw to work.

You one upped my thread title!
Just dipping my toes back in.
