    Default Unusal tourney - review/comments?

This tourney was a little strange. I had two guys to my right who I'd call calling stations except that on top of calling a lot, they also both raised a lot if folded to them. This setup a situation where when I'd normally be looking for blind steals, from button and co there was almost always a raise in front of me, and if I wanted to look for steals from EP I had at least one of these calling stations in the blinds. The table in general seemed a little more aggressive and loose than normal on top of that. I also ended up with the big stack to my left. He was fairly passive, but regardless, thats always a concern. I found myself not playing hands I might otherwise have played because of my reads.

This ones an interesting hand from SBs point of view. He's flopped a full house, but how does he get value from that board? I cant believe its right to never bet though, at least lead on the turn and hope I think I'm calling a bluff or something.

Heres a big dry run. Normally I'm looking to get some blinds here, but I couldnt find a spot. I was tempted by QKo UTG since I was getting low, but figured I'd wait and see if I could find a better spot.

Not going to find a better spot to get me some chips than this. Whenever I get a flop like this my reaction is 'damn, he hit his undercard!' then it takes a second or so to work out it hit me much better.

Golfnut hit trips on the flop here. Again he slowplays a monster. This hand is a lesson in why you dont do that.

Another dry spell. As you can see, some decent stealing hands dealt, but always with a raise in front. I come out of it ITM though, so again patience pays off

I like this play, not sure about others. Villian either has an A or doesnt. Only one way to find out. Surely even a calling station doesnt call this bet without one?

Hand 4: AKo – maybe a bit of an overbet but I wouldn’t fault you

Hand 7: folded to you on the button six handed, I think 77 is fine to raise with here-

Hand 8: yeah, this guy is retarded… I guess he was just dying to check-raise you, some people are so afraid to not value bet their monsters.

(KQo) yeah this hand is temping and I’d probably push it as a rookie mistake. I think I’ve read recently that this is a mistake a lot of people make with KQo UTG in a spot like this.

Hand 9: Q7o fullhouse – I’d value bet this (push?), if he has the king so be it…

Hand 14: He checked it to you, I think this is worth betting (I'm sure you were prepared to stop if he called or played back at all). I like.

Hand 16: bummer, I’m due for some of these

Well, from a fellow 5.50er I think you played this well. Sounds like you had some laggs that didn’t get to you and you played tight and took advantage of situations when they came. I don’t think I’d play this any different, so I’ll certainly learn something from other posters if they have feedback.

Hand 9, I play exactly the same. What exactly is pushing the river going to achieve? We get called by all the hands that beat us, and all the hands that we beat fold.... we're not going to extract any value from betting, let alone pushing imo.
