    Question, should i have laid this down? I had no reads. i had put him on 2 pair or the straight.....any comments?

    I'm tempted to say he bluffed you, but you need to put a lot of chips in for a TPGK hand so I dont mind the fold. It seems to be hands like this that if I do decide to call they have the goods. I've found it good policy to believe a bet like that. The times I lay down the best hand are outweighed by the times I'd have gone broke.


    Off topic comment. $1.25 tourneys. I was playing the $1.20s on PS and found the rake was killing me. I was 0% ROI after a downstreak, when a 10% rake would have left me with a 10% ROI. Thats a BIG difference. If you can find the cash to step up to a higher buyin with less rake, you'll probably find the standard about the same but more profitable ROI. Something to think about.
    Just dipping my toes back in.
