on the first hand, you should'nt check just b/c the king came on the turn. by not betting, he got the free card he was looking for. on the second hand, i recommend raising more preflop if you feel he's just limping his part of the SB.

Hand 1 - looks good to me.

Hand 2 - you can bet the turn again and see if he really hit the flush, or play it just like you did. I like a bigger checkraise if you are gonna do it on that flop.
