    Default Talkin' bout reads $50+5

So here is a hand from last night. I doubled up early and have been very tight throughout most of the tourney. I have 4 other tables going and have been pretty much giving up my blind to villian. When we get to five-handed villian has been aggressively pushing. Two blind battles ago he is AI, last time it is folded to me.

Everyone feel free to critique, when I was playing at $5 stakes I didn't think my input would be very useful for a bit bigger buyin hand histories. I think everyone learns more the more posts there are. So take a stab at it. Here is your info:

1: I didn't scope him but he seems solid (push/fold, tight to aggressive etc...)
2: You have been passive with your blinds and have not defended them to his rasies yet.
3: His range is wide when it gets down to SB-BB not ATC but wide maybe top 70-80% of hands
4: You have outplayed him post-flop

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t150 (5 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

    MP (t3970)
    Button (t4115)
    SB (t1825)
    Hero (t1910)
    UTG (t1680)

Preflop: Hero is BB with T, K.
3 folds, SB raises to t450, Hero ??????

Thoughts about 3X raise? Your move: Call, push, or fold and why?

Then as the hand played out:

    Hero: calls
    Flop: (t900) 4, Q, T (2 players)
    SB bets t1375 (All-In), Hero ????.

He instantly pushes : like saying "AI" before the flop is even out

    Call or Fold and why?

If you doubled up early, then you've been bleeding chips for a while now. I definately dont fold. You need to send a message that you cant always be pushed around. I probably push because I think we're ahead of a wide range of cards. Given how passive you've been, surely he has to be worried you have a monster no matter how good his cards?

As played you have 900 in the pot. Say 700 for a std c-bet, he might as well push instead, and if he's been aggressive he's unlikely to check here. First thing I do is wish I'd pushed PF :P. I still have 1500 behind, I fold and wait for a better spot. I actually suspect I have the best hand, but I'm not sure enough to stake my tourney on it.
Just dipping my toes back in.

I push pre flop and call the flop

IF his range for standard raise is 70-80%, the range he can call a push with has to be waaayyyy lower, so a resteal is good. On the flop, I call cos I probably have the best hand.

The way you've written it, it's bound to be KK/AA though...

With your stack size at 11x BB, I instapush back preflop. I am never just flat calling preflop, even with position.

As played, it's close but I think I fold the flop. You will still have about 8x BB left if you fold. This difficult decision could have been avoided if you just shoved back preflop, however.
