    Default Poker Books

I know I know.. as the subject suggests this may not be the right place to post this. However, the FTR book club seems like a dead forum now.. last post is April 23. I dont think I would be getting a reply there anytime soon so I'll post this here instead

I am buying a book using my FPP in Stars. Which book is better?

    1. Theory of Poker (Sklansky)
    2. Tournament poker for advanced players (Sklansky)
    3. Holdem for advanced Players (sklansky)
    4. No Limit Holdem (Sklansky & Miller)

Please choose one. Thank y' all

    ToP.

I'm nearly through No Limit Theory and Practise by Sklansky and Miller now, and its worth every cent and more, but some of it makes more sense having read ToP first. I'd recommend you make it next on your list.
Just dipping my toes back in.

If you are a tournament player and you did not read HoH get it first (Vol I & II, I havent read III).

Out of the books you mentioned I read Tournament poker for advanced players and ToP, ToP is better

I'd go with either 1 or 4, if you don't have 1 then that's the place to start. It can be a bit heavy going at times, but do persevere, it's worth it.
