Villian is 27/10/2.29. It's a loose call preflop, but I was looking to flop big. Was my 3BAI on the turn a bit overzealous? Is the proper play c/c here and hope to hit my hand? Or did I do the right thing by shoving, figuring that it's insanely harder to get the money in on the river when I've made my hand?

the draw is only huge if you have a diamond on the flop as well, you are getting your money in as a 2 to one dog, check it on an odds calc, I would c/c here for sure... we never like getting a lot of money in while trailing 2-1!

Calling this pre-flop oop is a huge leak. Weak flop lead is weird... I just bet $1, or c/r big. Your draw isn't very good and you're oop, so I don't mind c/f either. Turn is meh... I doubt you have much fold equity after he raises you big. And you're always behind, so you have to have fold equity to make this push +ev. I like leading the turn again, but just call his raise. It's less than pot-sized, so he's giving you the odds to draw. And he'll probably pay you off if the backdoor flush hits.
