AJs 3-handed to button raise ($27)

Default AJs 3-handed to button raise ($27)

Opp's stats were 27/12 at this point, and according to Sharkscope they're a losing player with -10% ROI and losses of $2500.

Clearly I'm playing this, but considering relatively deep stacks do you shove or just raise to 1800 or so?

Poker Stars No Limit Holdem Tournament
    Blinds: t100/t200 (Ante: t25)
    3 players

    Stack sizes:
    Button: t4570
    Hero: t5450
    BB: t3480

    Pre-flop: (3 players) Hero is SB with A J
Button raises to t600, Hero raises to 1800 or shoves?

I like 1600 because you have the best position post-flop for that stack/pot ratio.

I'm with Fnord. Too deep to shove I think.

Can you expand on this for me please? What about the stack/pot ratio makes acting first the best position?

Had a live (cash game hand oddly enough) where I discovered the value of this when I re-poped a manic for 40% of my stack.

Thanks for the examples Fnord, but you're assuming that if I make it 1600 to go from the SB that Button doesn't just shove over in which case I have to call.
