Default Do I push over big stack's raise here?

Villain had made this same raise a few times over the last 10 hands or so but had seemed pretty solid throughout the tounament. Do I push over this raise considering he could call and still have a decent stack if he loses?

I would, you've made the money, you're less than 10BB (although not by much) and he's had a history of raising this spot.

EDIT: my bad, yeah, bubble... I'd still push.

I'm not in the money here yet, I'm on the dreaded bubble. I will try and post the full HH for this tournament tomorrow, when I can get to my laptop.

His range is much wider than that. I shove that over. If you're not going to do that, all you're doing is hoping shortstack bubbles out before you do, and theres no guarantee he will.
Just dipping my toes back in.

I shove this. With Villain raising a lot he has become aggressive. Even if called AJo is a good hand to match up with. Plus you have some FE considering since he has raised and you have been out of his way.

Shove it. The short stack isn't short enough to pass up this kind of edge. If the big stack knows what he's doing he should be raising a very very wide range here, AJo is well ahead of his range.

Wouldn't this be much better with Ax?

I would prefer to push here, me thinks.

I did push all-in over the raise here and he called with A9 and hit a 9 on the river. I had pushed all-in a few times in this tournament but my luck ran out on this hand.

The whole HH link is below if anyone wants to take a look. I have tried to stop playing marginal hands out of position but I still keep finishing 4th. Is there anything I can do differently to build a bigger stack earlier as I always seem to get to the 100/200 blind level with between 1000-2000 chips?

Hand 2 - QQ - I just called and was hoping not to see an A or K, was this correct?

This looked pretty good overall, just a few comments:

    1. 33 - remember the rule - no set = no bet. That is not a good flop to bet with 33. I would just check and take the free turn card. As played, good that you bet the river with your set rather than trying to get tricky and check/raising.

    2. QQ - I would re-raise preflop, make it 400 or so to go. The problem with flat calling to see no A/K on the flop is that you sometimes fold the best hand on the flop if opp has something like TT/JJ. At a $3.40 SNG I am not afraid to get it AI preflop with QQ.

3 K SB (M = 32.00; f+c+c+c+f+f+F) - getting 9:1 on the call I'd complete and see if I can hit 2 pair or better on the flop

    2 T SB (M = 6.73; f+f+f+F) - if the BB wasn't the big stack I would shove this one

    7. AKo - push is obv fine but I never ever show - keep them guessing

8/9 - both fine. Unlucky on Hand 9.

Thanks taipan, I've just been reading some of the other posts on here and mcatdog says:

the most common finish in a SnG is 4th for good players
This week I must be one of the best players in the world then .
