playin mid pocket pair OOP

villain was running 33/19 over a 25 hand span. I know this hand is not that complicated, but I always feel like i don't know what i should do when i am playing these small pairs out of position. Should I have bet the turn/ if so .......should I bet more? I am relatively new to NL 6 max so any comments would be helpful.

You should be inclined to just call pre-flop, particularly against loose post-flop opponents.

When C betting the flop and betting out the turn with a hand like this, your actually trying to represent something. What is it you are trying to convince your opponent that you have? What do you think your opponent is calling with?

limp this preflop, makes the hand a lot easier to play.

limp pf. you're oop.
after you've bet pf. the flop cbet is ok. but you should check the turn. if they bet youll have to fold without reads.

I think raising preflop is alright to pick up extra money from a loose button, but I would shut down if called on a dry flop that didn't give me a set.

I put a small turn bet out there because I felt that he may have been calling me with two over cards, I have seen him do it before. I understand now that I should have limped pf considering the size of the stakes that I am playing. Thanks for the advice.

If he's that loose, then I might just call preflop.
