It all looks pretty good to me, including hand 1 (might have c-bet less, 350 will get the job done and leave us some extra chips if he pushes over). Hand 2 I probably raise PF, but its not bad as played.

    Just not your tourney.
Just dipping my toes back in.

If he would have folded to your c-bet on hand 1 would you be posting this?

Good point, no. I just wanted to make sure C-betting that flop was the best play. If I didn't have position, I probably wouldn't have, but given that he checked to me I felt I had to

Hand 1 - I agree with bjsaust, 350-400 as a c-bet is better since it folds exactly the same hands that 480 does and saves you ~100 chips when you're wrong.

Hand 2 - I would probably raise AQo in the BB, make it 180 to go. You might take it down preflop, but you probably have the best hand preflop and if you get called and hit an A or Q on the flop you win a much bigger pot.

other than your cbet on hand 1 being about 100 chips too much, i think you did what you should've done. it just didn't work out for you.

Also to make this feel better aswell, you played the hands in the middle fine too. Good pushes to gain back some chips and you ran into an excellent situation with ak at the end. Unlucky.
