87s in 4bet pot

he seems lag, 30/20 stats, has 3bet a couple times (i folded), and stabbed at flops a lot.

my image is sorta straightforward post flop but aggro pre flop.

pre flop kinda spewy huh? do you always bet the flop here, or do u like a c/r? what do u do on the turn?

also, i was getting 3bet quite a bit at the table, so decided i needed to fight back...
but this was probably not worth it since i was deep with a real fishy player to my right.

i got pretty tilted by how it ended up. looking back i think pushing the flop or at least the turn is the best play. agreed?

Yeah, first off im not on your level at all, but im pretty sure i would shove this flop. If not, im probably open shoving the turn if he checks behind on the flop.

As for preflop, it certainly seems spewy. I know your fighting back, but these plays will probably end up costing you in the long run. Flop turned out great however, and im sure you were pretty happy with yourself at that point. I guess until the hand finished anyway.

yeah, I would just push flop and hope villain calls, he followed you that far and weak 2p is easily counterfeited by a paired board.

Stacksizes are too awkward to make a fourbet bluff here but you've bingoed the flop so i just bet/call it.

but i thought the 4bet was not TOO bad (well it was vs this particular opp...), since it'll usually get ppl to fold, and i'm not priced into calling an all in.

I don't see why you would bet 400-500 here and not just shove it all in. I know you want to valuebet your hand, but your only leaving 100-200 (16-33bbs) behind with a massive pot, and by doing that, it almost seems obvious that you love your hand, where as a shove, seems like it could be more of a bluff.

Yea you don't need to 4-bet so huge PF first off. Pushing flop is best, but as played push turn.

I'd bet around 150 - I'd also do this with bluffs as well - If he calls the 150 hes likely commiting himself to the pot and it may entice him to push over with worse, also the times when you are bluffing it allows you to escape with a good portion of your stack if he does shove over.

Yeah but villain is going into the flop with about $600 left. I guess you can go either path, bet a small amount like $250 and get him pot committed and maybe hope for a shove seems best actually. But i guess i don't mind just shoving the flop, hes only got a little over a psb left anyway.
