Adjusting pre flop raise?

Hi all,

I play in a regular home sit n go with on avg 6-7 people. Most of them play pretty loose pre flop. I have a question with adjusting my pre flop raise with this type of table. Starting stacks are at 4K and blinds start at 25-50(go up every 35min) .

I have been doing 3x bb but I often get a lot of callers. This is good and bad, good b\c when I hit the flop I get the extra loose chips, bad b\c when I hit the flop and start getting crazy action I am not sure if it is some nut going wacky with his ace rag or someone who hit their 2 pair with 8-3 and played them b\c they were suited.

Now it seems that after the first few rounds 3x does the trick at about the 75-150 level, but in the early levels with stacks of 4K people seem to want to play.

Should I just lay low the first few rounds or should I increase my pre flop raise to 5 or 7x early on?

Go with 4-6BB at early level, depending on position and limpers

So your thinking more limpers increase higher, since the limpers are going to call 3x?

In the early levels make it 4BB + 1BB for every limper, don't raise to steal in the early blind levels, in early position maybe make it 5BB to go when blinds are small.
