Was I right to slow play this on the flop? It was pretty uncoordinated. Could I have got away from this? DAV1009 was pretty new to the table, and I don't know much about him. Where did I go wrong in this hand? Did I go wrong, or is it just one of those things you'll always loose money on?

    Any feedback much appreciated.

    Didn't see it was 2NL.

Overbet every street unti all in. You could even just push the flop if you wanted. Stars 2NL is the juiciest game of anything on the internet.

Fair enough, good point. I slow play far to much.

I'm never really sure how to bet a set. I'm basically looking to get all in on the flop, right?

On that flop there, how would you have bet in an early position? The pot, minimum, 1/2 the pot, push, what? Am I looking to get someone to put me all in, or am I going all in, and hoping that there's someone stupid enough to call? (Obviously in this particular situation it's academic, because I was always behind, but you know what I mean; in general).

Do you ever lay a set down on the flop, for fear of a better set, or are you willing to always go broke? How about if the flop is, for example 5d6c7d, and I hold 6s6h?

    Newbie questions, from a newbie.

My questions to the above have kind of been answered while I was asking them.

Thanks for the help, much appreciated.

Tough break, most people are losing most or all of their stack on this hand, however just call his river raise because he could easily have K5, K7 or K4 as well.
