Default Playing decent hands from the SB...

...when you've got 20-30BBs, and you find yourself with a decent, but not great hand, you're a few blind levels into the tourney ...

You find yourself on the SB with AJo, KJs, KQ,...

If there's no limpers I'll usually raise, but if there's a few limpers, I'm inclined just to complete the SB because I don't want to play a big pot out of position, and doubt that a raise will scare everyone out. Is this counterproductive? I also have trouble calling raises in this position.

Push allin after a few limpers with 20bb. Just limp along if deeper.

Really? A push with KJ or KQ to me seems like an unnecessary risk with 20bbs left. Maybe I've been playing far too tight at the 15-20bb stage?

How tight do you have to be to push in that same position with QJ or QT?

there's no way im pushing KQo KJ with 20-30bb . unless the pot (with limpers) is actually worth the risk.

How low do you have to be before you push in that situation with something like JT, QJ, QT? If it's folded around to me in SB I'll push with 5-10bbs, but if there's a bunch of limpers, I'm skeptical that with only 8bbs or so I'll be able to push out all of the limpers, and hands like that are so often dominated....

...is it wrong to complete SB with these hands when you get low, like around 10 bbs? I've heard at that point it's push or fold

Pushing with AJo and even AQo with 20 BBs is mostly for pure value, because you'll get looked up by some of the stupidest crap ever. I like to do it closer to 7-8m but I could see 20 BB as a good cap.
