$6+$.50 Turbo on FTP - AQo on button

I am sorry I don't have the HH, but I don't think we need a HH here. This is more of good move/bad move question.
Blinds were 80/160, 6 players left.
V is UTG with 8/4/.5 and has about 1120.
I'm in BB with 27/14/2 and have about 1300. I have big swings (from 40% to -20% to 35%, etc. and now at 3%), but they are getting smaller and I am getting ITM more and more.
V took a couple of beatings and has been flaming players at the table. He has an ROI of 8% over 700 games (I looked this up after the hand).
He moves all-in UTG. I thought and thought and moved AI. We both flip over AQo and chop the pot.

Was my call bad?? Was this a -EV play? If I put him on 88+ and AJ+ (and disregard whether cards are sooted), AQ is not quite in the top 50% of his hand range. I do think that this is an easy fold on the bubble.
Please help me walk through this.

If his pushing range is 88+,AJ+ you can call with TT+,AK so your call was marginal/bad. You should consider getting SNGPT/SNGWiz, they're worth every penny.

If his pushing range is what you said then there's not enough dead money in the pot to make this call profitable. Tough to fold AQ here though...
