BB hand with limper 3.30 R+A, 2nd hour

my flop bet was simply a steal attempt at this orphan flop, he raises indicating a small or med pair to me, i call the turn , it seems weak and there are outs for me, as well as "scare card" outs. Sensing weakness and a great scare card on the river, I bet into it- is this dumb? he could easily have AJ AQ here, but I thought its more likely 55 or so....

I don't know how he 'easily' could have AQ or AJ when he raises the flop and then donk bets turn and he limped pre flop from MP.

If he had called flop then led 400 I would say he has a draw and the 4 would be scary, here I agree it looks a lot like 55 or 77 or a weak 8x, all of which should fold river, so nh. If he flopped trips or made a boat oh well.

Also it helps us all look smart when you post the results.

You should be bluffing probably at least A and K rivers along with check/calling Q or T rivers to make turn call OK, and I guess same goes for flop.
