My thinking here is the only play is another raise. All in would only make sense, I believe.

Only things calling are better hands, as I feel that 67 will show up here often, as well as combination draws (A6,7s). Sets also will raise due to the texture of the board. We could be ahead of an OP, but if i go all in they will be folding 95% of the time, so I'm risking my stack to win around 600.

As played, I folded. I felt nitty but looking back I think it was a wise choice.

CB is weak. Play that hand like the winner it is.

Call the raise, See what happens when another card comes out... I see Villian raising with A8 here a lot...
    Hey knucklehead! Bonk!

I feel calling the bet turned my hand into 72 off. I was esentially only calling to bet on the turn. I just thought it was a shit spot.

Now playing this hand in say the third hour I would most likely have taken a more agressive line. But this early people generally don't make these kind of plays without made/big draw hands and are trying to build a pot.

Note: sets will raise here due to board texture.

how do you tell 99 from 88 here based on him raising one really weird looking c-bet? You've told us 2 times sets will raise due to board texture and yet you didn't even make a proper bet given board texture. It looks to me like you wanted to make a fancy laydown. You did.

You simply cannot fold on the flop. If you want to call the flop and then check fold I could see it but folding the flop is awful.

the 50/50 is usually a donk fest early on. The raise there could be a set or it could be a hand like 78, 89, 8A, etc. Especially given your very weak lead (which I don't like as much as I normally would on this very drawy board 3 handed).
