    Default Playing agressive against maniac

    Played in a $13 12 person (2 6 person tables). Pays 3 places.

On my first table the player to my right played 90% of the hands. After some awesome s-outs this person had a decent stack.

At the final table, 5 left, this player again on my right and playing everything, I decided to play push/fold to see what they did. Had about 2750 in chips against opps 4600.

For about 5 rounds this person would limp (100/200 blinds) I would push AI and they would fold. The last hand I played they limped, I woke up with AK and went AI again. Opp, after a long delay, called with K-Jo. They caught a j to knock me out.

Now my question is.....Would they have respected my push AI a little more if I hadn't done it 4 times in a row after they limped? Is it better to play A-B-C poker against people who play every hand? I felt that they were frustrated with my pushing AI and that's the reason they called. Yes....that's exactly what I wanted for sure. But is there a better way to play this type of player?
It's not how many pots you win, it's what's in them that counts.

a better way than winning 4 hands with no showdown then getting it in as a dominating favorite?

Well that's how it happened to play out late in this tourney and I couln't ask for better...you're right.

My question is more general....early on and in the middle stages is it best to play only premium hands against this type of player or take a lot of flops. Or just mix it up....
