    Default ranges?

At this blind level, is it fair to put button on a range as wide as 44+, A2s+, A5+, K8s+, KT+ or am I being too liberal? And, what would you do in this position? I chose push. Good? Bad?

88 is a borderline push hand for me and would depend on a couple of factors such as: Has villian shown that he can lay down a hand or has he shown down some suspect hands against aggression? Have you been pushing over raises alot lately or have you been pretty quiet? If you have been more on the quiet side and feel that villian can lay down a hand I would lean more towards a push here.

Stop & go is also an option

A lot of it is read Dependant - how agressively villian has played so far

He hadn't done anything out of line so far. Over a small sample (117 hands), his pfr was 14.4, and blind steal attempt at 30.7

I figured I was ahead of his range. Question is do I want to flip now if he turns over 2 broadways considering the blind level?

Stop and go would have yielded the same results:

    *** FLOP *** [2d Kd 4h]

I would most likely have c/r or pushed. He held KJo.

I don't think it was a bad play, I didn't want to just call and face difficult decisions later. Its more a question of even if the range I had him on is fair, should I be holding my chips for now, or getting them in now as at least a small favorite?
