50NL: AKo calling PF push?

villain was 20/12/4. With AKo here, I say to my self that this is either a 4bet or fold. I'm not really affraid of shorties and plus villain could be squeezing (even if I handn't seen him doing that too much). Was the 4bet a bad play?
Calling here is wrong I think, we are getting about 3-1 in pot odds but if villain is only doing this with KK+ it's not good enough. If we add QQ then we are barely having odds. Is this thinking process too tight? Can we put AK on villain's range?

This totally depends on your read. Is villain capable of 5bet shoving QQ even JJ or 1010/ak? If he is, snap call because of how much money is in the pot. If you think hes the player who could only do this with AA/KK only, then i probably fold here. I think its pretty close either way bc of pot odds.

BTW i don't think you can seriously fold to his 3bet like your considering. Its either a call or raise, usually a raise with how many limpers who are likely to follow a call. Also, your 4bet seems fine imo bc you don't want a huge family pot + your holding AK.

You priced yourself into a call.

A 20/12 in a $50 game isn't 3-betting a wide enough range so I would just make a weak/tight fold pre-flop and pretend my hand sucked.

I wouldn't 4 bet here, especially with 2 people to act. As played you have to call. The raise you made made your cbet the rest of your stack...I don't like having to do that with AKo as we're missing most flops.

As played, we're priced into a call here with our $40ish stack and some dead money in the pot. It's about $22.50 more to win $65 here. Nearly good enough odds to call if he flashed us KK.

When the action comes back to him, the two other large stacks have already folded, so he's heads up against us with our $20 left behind. I'm pretty sure he's shoving JJ and QQ here as well (whether or not he would re-raise against a bet and a call ahead of him with JJ/QQ isn't certain though).

But, as Fnord said, the best option is probably to just fold our 25 cent SB investment and move on to the next hand.
