Alright, so last week i scored $2400 in a tourney cash and shot my bankroll up to $3K ish. Right now I have a hair under $2900.

I wanted to register to CR when i had 13 or 1400 but i felt it was too much of my bankroll. But now I believe it would be good for me to get my hands on a membership.

I really want to improve my SH cash game.

Honestly, my improved winrate pays for the Cardrunners subscription. Some people are not happy with the quality of the videos but I cannot even watch half of them. The small stakes series by Brystmar was very good IMO.

Ive sat through 4 or 5 videos. Liked what I saw. The videos really drive home points by you actually hearing people talk, and seeing the hands in progress. Its def different than reading posts. So far I won't recommend or boo the site. Ill check back later though

Got my membership a couple months ago. Loved it at first, especially the BT and GP vids, but now I get really bored whenever I try to watch a video and I don't think I really learn much. Like you'll watch a 45 video and all the play in it is really standard besides maybe a few hands. Kind of a waste of time. But I still think I've more than gotten my money's worth, though I might be canceling my subscription soon.

It's def worth it just starting out at SH cash. Once you start beating 2/4+ I don't think there is too much value in the videos.

Wouldn't that be because you already learned the things that make these hands "standard" from the videos?

Something I'd suggest (which I've done/am doing): take notes on the videos. Jot down interesting/valuable concepts to work into your game, and so that you can return to rewatch the video and see how it was applied.

ive done this a few times and its works a treat, esp BT videos where he can go indepth int concepts better than others.

IMO AW, Stinger dont discuss concepts enough or well enough. BT is by far the best and ive rewatch a few of his vids.

Agreed. BT and Rizen (PXF) are the best vids by far. I actually think some of the early BT may be better than the recent ones.

Alright well ill update quick. I watched some really good sixpeppers videos, along with BT and some muddywater. Probably watched a dozen or so videos.

The thing with actually seeing these hands in progress while being explained really opens up the auido/visual learning that is really valuable. Reading is good but the use of the extra senses really drives home points.

Anyways since then I have really been adamant on positional play. I have been making more (better) 3 bets. I won't get into it but after runnin/playing really bad before I am turning things around. Highhighhighly reccomended.

BT's videos are great I agree, moreso his earlier ones. You should also check out Taylor's vids they have nice concepts as well, and Jman's 1st one was v.good too.

i did look back on his first vid he made and learned alot from one particular hand. think it was a KJ hand but cannot remember exactly. amazing analysis.

AW is very hit and miss

Also 2tbls is the perfect amount they should do. 1 is boring is it aint GP who can talk for a full 40 min, 4tbls is way too much and cant get any concepts in (just talk quickly about hands which is often results oriented).

Id still pay to see them tho lol
