I think I played it well, I made him make the tough decision, although he instacalled both times.

1) 4bet non-pushes look stronger

and

2) pushing gives your opponent the chance to make the correct play by calculating correct pot odds, and it defines the hand pretty easily.

my plan was to 4bet him and if he called push any flop. Since he had AK his call was a BE one on the flop given my hand, but he called on a 25% favorite as opposed to a 45%.
