Default Good push here?

Opp's played solid aggressive poker. I've played a pretty t/a this game.

Do you insta-push?

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t150 (3 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

Button (t4993)
SB (t5635)
Hero (t2872)

Preflop: Hero is BB with K, 4.
1 fold, SB raises to t300, Hero calls t150.

Flop: (t600) 8, 7, 6 (2 players)
SB bets t450, Hero ?????
It's not how many pots you win, it's what's in them that counts.

Fold Equity + Pot Equity + ITM = Good Push.

thnx. I quickly counted 13 outs twice (9 hearts/4 5's), plus maybe the K's for another 3. Even if opp had over pair I still think I'm a favorite post flop here.

learning to count outs properly will help your play.

I.E- you don't have 13 clean outs, you have 12.

Also, don't think you're a favorite, know you are. Run the math yourself or use pokerstove.

Its 12 because you've counted 5 of hearts twice.

This makes you slightly under 45% to make your straight or flush, bearing in mind that neither of those give you the nuts.

Combine that with the chance that villian is just c-betting and doesnt have a hand, and some possibility that you have 3 more outs with your K, plus fold equity v's things like middle pair and another draw and I think you're good to push, but its an edge, not a sure thing.
Just dipping my toes back in.

I'm trying to improve for sure. I obviously figured 9h+4 5's not thinking about the 5h twice. Will know better now. Thanks for picking that error up. Another one of my leaks slowly closing!
Opp went into the tank for their full time and called with A-8os, no hearts. (TPTK) The pair held up.

I'm happy with my push after running through the hand again. I did figure that there was enough fold equity to make them lay down TP, middle pair or AK. Opp made a pretty aggressive call. Have to give them credit here.

If you are opp do you make this call considering I was playing pretty t/a?

If I run the hand in cardplayers odds calculator I get 52.32% vs 45.95% in my favor post flop. (tie 2.73%)

This isn't counting the 3rd players cards who folded.

bjsaust is 45% the standard number for 12 out's twice?

Yeah, at least accoring to my chart.

You're 45% with 12 outs of making one of those outs. You're 54.1% chance of making one of 15 outs (your K).

Havnt used to cardplayers odds calculator, but I'm guessing its based on chance to win v's ranges, not just chance to hit outs.
