    Default Do you fold this?

Setup - Late in a $22 SNG on Stars. Both remaining players are pretty solid and are adept at stealing, laying down hands etc.

Do you re-raise here, call and bet any flop you hit on or wait for a better spot?

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t150 (3 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver Cards)

    Hero (t4975)
    BB (t4430)
    Button (t4095)

Preflop: Hero is SB with , .
Button raises to t450, Hero ???

I'm not used to playing 3-handed with blinds so low, but I would typically fold here. Too bad reverse implied odds to play this OOP IMO.

I would make it 1200ish here. It will likely get them to stop stealing vs you. If they push over, its an easy fold and you lose respect, but with the low blinds you can wait for a big hand and take advantage of that. If he calls, i bet out to try to steal. A fold is not bad either. Calling is bad i think.

Yeah i like a 1200 raise here, but don't mind a fold. Really hate calling in this spot.

My thought was closer to Tai's in that it was early enough (and he hadn't stolen enough to make it blantant) for me to pass on this edge. I folded.

Backup question - How high would your kicker need to be here to warrant a re-raise? 8?, 9? or higher?

I think I'm looking for AT or better to put in 1/4 of my stack preflop when I'll be OOP postflop and will almost certainly fold if opp shoves over.

yup, i'd fold it. relatively high M for 3 handed, i prefer to stick to only push reraise with AJ+, 88+, even factoring in a likely steal from button.
