I have won a ticket WCOOP 1 - shorthanded NLHE. I have playeed some shorthanded games, but feel abit unsure in what ways I should adapt my play. There are only 6 instead of 9 players. Does anyone have any general ideas?

There will be fewer good hands dealt around a table, so aggression and position will take down more hands. Also, top pair is a good hand and will win many pots so 2 high cards (eg KT) are a reasonable hand to raise with. Since others know these changes to the play, you may find more people bluffing. Remember, the blinds come round much more often than at a full table, so you've got to get out and play!

Don't worry about it. If you have played a lot of tournies, you have obviously been shorthanded a lot even within full table events. And its not like the other players are going to be shorthanded tournament specialists....
