    Default As-Jx 200NL

Villain is 13/10 over ~1k hands - none mined.

Should i be checking behind on this turn?

    Villain's range: (6s-6x - Qs-Qx, xs-xs). I know he would c/r AI TPTK or a set in this situation.

I think i can get him to fold the smaller pocket pairs to a turn shove, but think he would usually call with 10s-10x+. Should i take the free card with so many outs against hands i will/sometimes will fold?

    Hero: ($256.50 in chips)
    Villain: ($236.35 in chips)
    1 other player

    *** HOLE CARDS ***
    Dealt to Hero: [As Jh]
    1 fold
    Villain: raises $6 to $8
    Hero: raises $16 to $24
    Villain: calls $16
    *** FLOP *** [5s 3s Ks]
    Villain: checks
    Hero: bets $42
    Villain: calls $42
    *** TURN *** [5s 3s Ks] [5c]
    Villain: checks
    Hero: ?

ur 3bet is kinda thin vs this dude but ok
I'd prolly 5/6 pot flop shove any turn as played

I wouldn't 3bet this guy with the hand you are holding. I think usually a 13/10 is calling your 3bet and flop bet with a hand that is better than what you have put as his range, maybe im wrong and you know villain better than me from just looking at stats but i probably wouldn't shove the turn without some decent reads either.

Fold pre-flop. I like a turn shove as played. If you get called, you better hope those diamonds turn back into spades

Well obviously butchered HH, but i dont blame you if you have a legitimate question.

Yeah sauce's line. Most of the time on these boards good opps look to fold the turn after calling the flop.

    edited for continuity

In actuality, villain had c/r'ed me AI on the flop with K-3s, and i didn't draw out. But when i was reviewing my PT for sessions i had played that day i saw this hand and wondered how the turn would have played had he just called my flop c-bet.

Just in case you missed it, the game is 3 handed (that part of the HH i did NOT mess up ), and i am in position.

As for 3betting vs. not 3betting, i can see how just calling PF gives us some decent options for extracting value postflop, and keeps us further ahead of his range. He is also a heavy multitabler, and may not even be aware that the game is only 3handed!

Yeah, I missed that. Still vs. a 13/10/5.1 an argument can be made that calling is better than 3betting. Depends on how lightly he'll call 3bets obv
