What can I do against people like this?

I'm actually having trouble winning consistently.

It's not this hand in particular that I'm talking about.. I just wanted to give an example of the kinds of players you get.

How can you ever put these guys on a hand?

I guess variance is just a lot higher at the lower stakes?

You thank the poker gods that these people keep playing poker because in the long run you will win these hands soooo much more often than you will lose them.

In short, NEVER get upset when you get all of your chips in the middle with the best hand, even if you lose it cuz you have done your job.

Yeah, what the others said, I'm actually GLAD to have two donkeys who will call with such crap (OMG they were both awful), over the long run keep on getting your chips in like this and you'll do well.

a) Reading hands isn't important here. You have a good overpair and your stack is roughly the size of the pot. Who cares about hand reading here? Just shove.

b) If you're not a winning player it's probably something in your play if it's a decent sample size. Self analyse more and post hands, don't just worry about bad beats.

i play the 5.5's at PS and this stuff happens. all you can do is dust yourself off and do the exact same thing next time under the same circumstances. you will win a majority of the time. and like someone else said, make notes on these players. my notes pay off from time to time because these people don't change. good luck.
