This is interesting. I'm tempted to let the two big stacks take out the shorty (assuming top 3 pay), but if you think they will let you check it down I could see calling and checking, just to increase the chance the shorty bubbles. Calling and having Ben raise would be a disaster though, I just muck it.

Don't even think about pushing though.

At this level I think there is too much risk that they will not check it down because they don't understand so i think you should fold to still leave yourself a decent stack to try and comeback if shorty triples up.

Ugh this is a bad spot. I'd fold it, hoping that the big stack calls (or even better, pushes over and the SB calls!) and that you're in 3rd with a short but still semi-playable stack. As badgers said, if you flat call and the big stack shoves over you have to fold and that's a disaster.

I think i gotta go with fold too. Even if dan folded i find spots like this tough. Because it seems you would definitally want to isolate here. But you would be pushing over your stack into the huge stack who is liable to call.

yeah thanks for all the answers, I folded it and dan called.. the flop had an 8 but then dan's 6 high straight beat the shortie's 5 high straight..
