    Default $16 - A6 folded to button 12 BB

Hmm this is a tough spot. It is a nice stealing spot and hand, but I have just 12BB’s left. The blinds were pretty tight. I think I would miss value by folding, but if I got called I could get myself in trouble and of course I could get reraised. What to do here?

If blinds are tight, make it 250 and fold to a push, you still have room to a manouver if you get re raised and have to fold.

That's what I'd do, but what if there's a call and it's checked to you on the flop?

Well, that depends what the flop is!
generally, ill bet around 75% of the time it's checked to me in that spot.
Any flop with an A or rags on is a good flop to bet. I wouldn't bet a flop of Q98 with 2 diamonds.

But if lets say the BB calls, the pot is 250+50+250 = 550. You will have to c-bet atleast 250?
If you then lose you have wasted 500 = 40% of your stack.
What if an ace flops, he then CRAI?
Or is that risk just small enough?
I am just another learning player, so read my comments (very) open minded.

    Stop being a woos!!!

Seriously, chances are if either of the BB's has an Ace with a decent kicker they will most likely re-raise pre-flop. When you take the lead they have no idea that you have a weak kicker and would most likely fold to a C-Bet unless they hit the hand pretty good.
Poker is easy, it's winning at poker that's hard.

    Convinced, thanks.
I still find it hard playing with 13ish BB's.

Sorry to weigh in late. I'd also make it 250 to go from the button if the blinds were tight. Just leaves you deep enough to fold to a push preflop and even fold after making a c-bet of 250-300 or so if you're called preflop.
